Learning from nutrition-sensitive fish agri-food systems in Cambodia

Yangon, 12 December 2017 – U Myint Zin Htoo, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Fisheries, U Saw Lah Paw Wah, Director of the Aquaculture Division and Heike Voegler, MYSAP Nutrition Advisor, attended an international workshop on Nutrition-Sensitive Fish Agri-Food Systems in Siem Reap, Cambodia last week.

“Cambodia’s inland freshwater resources are among the most productive the world, due to the presence of large floodplains. Through the workshop and a field visit, we learned how fish production in Myanmar could be geared towards nutritional benefits”, Heike Voegler said.
